Blog Post Best Earning Programs at PepperJam Network

Posted in CPA Networks, PepperJam Network by Dave on the April 5th, 2008

PepperJam Network has some of the best CPA programs available for publishers to maximize their earning potential. A common misconception amongst beginning affiliate marketers is that CPA networks don’t pay as well as a click based network such as Google’s Adsense. This is simply not true. After several years of experimenting with various affiliate programs, it is apparent that a good CPA program with high sales or lead commissions can out-perform any click network if you know what you’re doing.

Here’s three of my personal best picks of hot CPA programs from the PepperJam Network.

#1—————————–

Program Information:
LifeLock, the industry leader in proactive identity theft protection, offers a proven solution that prevents your identity from being stolen before it happens. We'll protect your identity and personal information for only $10 a month - and we guarantee our service up to $1,000,000. We also offer the only identity theft child protection program available in the market, so guarantee your good name today and enroll now.

Partner Website: http://www.lifelock.com
Accept/Decline Method:   Automatic
Leads:  $31.50
Leads Greater than 50: $32.50 *
Leads Greater than 100: $33.50 *
Cookie Duration:  45 days
* Incentives for a monthly period

Notes:
This program converts extremely well and at a very high rate ($31.50). If you can convert once every 100 clicks, you're earning $.31 and up per click. Right now with the aggressive television advertising the company is doing, it's likely when people are searching for information regarding LifeLock they're searching because they have seen the commercial and are doing due diligence on the internet. All of that factored in makes this one of the top CPA program going at the moment.

Blog Post eBay Partner Network Launches Today

Posted in CPA Networks by Dave on the April 2nd, 2008

As promised, eBay has launched their new. “in house” affilite program, the eBay Partner Network. Earlier this year, eBay announced they would be removing their affiliate program from Commission Junction and launching their own program. While there are mixed emotions in the affiliate and developer communities over this move, it’s probably better in the long run that ePN has been launched.

I signed up for the ePN and within a few hours my application was approved. Within 10 minutes I had my first links built and I was ready to start changing my Commission Junction style links over to the new ePN format. One of the things that impressed me most was that ePN has added the ability to embed a Channel ID and a Custom ID in the URL for tracking purposes. Thumbs up to ePN for thinking like an affiliate marketer on that one.

If you’re an existing member of the eBay program with Commission Junction or if you’re new to eBays affiliate program, you can get more information at eBay Partner Network

Blog Post PepperJam Network Report - Round 1 : PepperJam vs. Adsense

Posted in Affiliate Programs, CPA Networks, PepperJam Network by Dave on the March 29th, 2008

Knockout Punch

If you read my post from a week ago First PepperJam Commission, you’d know that I was extremely impressed with nailing down my first commissions using Pepperjam Network. It only took about one week and 6700 impressions for my first conversion using PepperJam and the overall results, including number of clicks and eCPM have me singing praises about PepperJam’s innovative CPA program.

Now it’s a week later and has been two weeks since I’ve signed up with PepperJam and I wanted to do a little follow-up about how my second week using PepperJam has concluded.

As of today, I’ve had a total of three conversions for $41.50 in commissions. Incredible, for two weeks in this program to have already brought down close to $50 in commissions from a mere 108 clicks makes PepperJam one of the most lucrative CPA programs I’ve ever experienced. As of today, PepperJam is averaging around $.38 per click (at least three times my Adsense eCPM). It also seems that the PepperjamADS widget invites more clicks than any other ads I’ve used in the past. The beautiful part is that you don’t have to be paranoid about inticing clicks to your ads like you have to be when using Google Adsense.

It seems to me that Google Adsense’s policy of restricting who, what, when and where we get our clicks from and their policy of banning publishers without notice makes having Google Adsense on your site a liability more than a monetization vehicle. Considering the fact that PepperJam network advertisers are not paying per click but per conversion, the stress, hassle and potential loss of earnings with Adsense make using it old hat.

Many of my loyal readers here and my friends at DigitalPoint or Code4Gold fourms are aware of the circumstances surrounding my being unfairly banned by Adsense last November, right before Christmas and my two biggest Adsense months ever. Although I was re-instated by Adsense a few weeks later, it was nonetheless upsetting that they confiscated *ALL* of my October and November earnings (appx $1700) and have refused to make ammends for literally taking my children’s Christmas presents from under the tree.

While I still use Adsense (reluctantly) to fill 10-15% of my ad space, I still cringe every time I load a page with Adsense or login to my account that they will pull the same business on me again eventually.

With PepperJam, each time I login to my account, there are no suprises, unless you consider seeing fantastic commissions a suprise !!! I’d say that PepperJam is a knockout on , not only for publishers but for advertisers as well. Kudos to Network on the victory !!!

Blog Post Does ScratchBack Help Bloggers Make Money?

Posted in Direct Advertising by Dave on the March 23rd, 2008

I was intending to ask this question earlier in the week when I added the ScratchBack Widget to the blog here. I personally think the widget is a good thing. From the White Hat SEO perspective, it’s not like anybody is buying a permanent text link to stimulate Google’s precocious search engine spider (that is known to crawl into places it wasn’t invited) but it’s a genuine, “Buy a Cheap Ad” on my site solution.

Unfortunately, I signed up to ScratchBack using my Gmail address because I wasn’t sure they weren’t just another internet blogger tool harvesting email addresses of bloggers, and like a true marketer, I missed my first person who tipped me because I didn’t check my Gmail account for a few days.

I want to say thank you to Web Hosting Pros for the first cookie in the cookie jar. Every dollar counts and for $3.00 USD, they’ve got my top spot. I think that’s a pretty good advertising vehicle for a few dollars in Paypal.

The way I discovered ScratchBack was from leaving a tip on another bloggers site…

What do you think about ScratchBack?
